Loving life

October 19, 2009 : A letter from Cindy:

Baxt has grown into such a sweet dog that loves life. He especially enjoys his best buddy, Zoey. He follows her everywhere. I think that I have mentioned before that he has no hearing and very low eyesight. So Baxt uses Zoey for both his eyes and ears.

He loves to go for rides in the car, and looks forward to the days my grandson comes over so he can follow him around. He still doesn't understand that he is a big guy and can be a little rough at times. If he is running you would do best to move out of his way. He has been known to run right into me or for that matter closed gates. It sure doesn't bother him though, he just picks himself up and moves on.

In the afternoon I spend time in the yard cleaning, watering, and cleaning out the pond. I think this is his special time. He loves being right there. He has almost put me in the pond a couple of times trying to get as close as he can. He is such a good boy and has come such a long way. He doesn't fall too often and is getting around just fine. He is a love and I thank you for giving him such a loving start.

Thanks for the great update on "Little" Baxt. It's obvious he doesn't have to be spoon fed anymore! He sure hit the jackpot on his new home and family! Thanks for taking this little guy in...
