Portrait of Oke Mueller

Oke Mueller

Industry professional and Board Member

Born in Germany, Oke Mueller majored in marketing and social psychology at the University of Hamburg. He lived and worked in Amsterdam and Berlin before moving to Los Angeles in 2009. Oke was a Global Brand Strategist in some of the world's leading creative advertising agencies for almost 20 years before taking his passion for brands, creative marketing and technology to a corporate role. Today, he is the Global Vice President for consumer insights and franchise planning at Activision, one of the world's leading video game companies.

During his time at TBWA\Chiat\Day, he developed strategic work for the likes of Apple, PlayStation, Pepsi and Nissan - and also helped to make the world a better place for dogs by helping Pedigree to become a truly dog-loving brand with the Dogs Rule campaign and the Pedigree Adoption Drive. But his true passion project was the development of the advertising strategy for Best Friends' NKLA initiative and the branding approach for Best Friends Animal Society, including the Save Them All tag line. He and his team of pet-loving co-workers invested countless hours of work and passion into the cause of Best Friends and its branding approach.

Oke and his wife, Mascha, have shared a life for almost 20 years and came to the U.S. together from Germany in 2009. They live and work in Los Angeles and enjoy being part of the thriving creative marketing, entertainment and technology world of the West Coast. Their biggest dream is to settle on a farm one day, surrounded by adopted furry friends.
