Amber Ayers, Marketing Plan Management
Amber Ayers joined the Community Programs and Services division of Best Friends in October, 2008. She recently joined the Marketing division in marketing plan management.
A native of Utah, Amber earned a B.S. in political science from the University of Utah.
Prior to joining Best Friends, Amber spent two years with No More Homeless Pets in Utah in the areas of finance, marketing, and as a "kennel schlepper." She has also worked for the University of Utah, the Sierra Club, and the Utah Foster Care Foundation.
Amber has fostered many great dogs over the years, helping them to find their forever homes among her fellow animal-loving friends and family.
Amber is very excited to be a part of Best Friends Animal Society, working with an amazing team of people dedicated to creating a world where there are No More Homeless Pets.
The mother of a beautiful, sassy, 5-year-old daughter, Sophie, Amber and Sophie share their home in the Salt Lake valley with their 12-years-young, super-cool mutt, Fonzy, and three cats: Mazzy, Chief and Mu. Some of Amber's favorite activities are hiking, goofing off with Sophie and Fonzy, writing, photography, reading, and gardening.
