Aimee St. Arnaud, Community Program Manager

Aimee St. Arnaud is the Great Lakes Region's community program manager for Best Friends' national No More Homeless Pets campaign. Aimee works with shelters, rescue groups, other humane organizations and individuals to develop local No More Homeless Pets programs.

Aimee helped establish a no-cost spay/neuter MASH clinic for cats in Toledo and Columbus, Ohio, and is currently developing no more homeless pets projects in Cleveland, Ohio, and Chicago, Illinois.

Aimee also moderates the No More Homeless Pets Forum, an online discussion group with over 2,100 participants that features a different guest speaker each week.

Prior to her involvement with Best Friends, Aimee worked for the Toledo Area Humane Society as the Special Events and Education Director and managed a statewide ballot initiative campaign. She also founded Humane Ohio, a non-profit organization focused on assisting shelters in Northwest Ohio end euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals.

Aimee is on the Advisory Board for The Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Project in Seattle, WA and Spay/Neuter Assistance Program in Houston, TX. She also serves on the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association Community Awareness Task Force and has given workshop presentations on a variety of animal welfare related topics and organized local conferences.

Aimee lives near Toledo, Ohio, with her two dogs and cat.
