Wade Peatross, Information Technology Manager

As manager of information technology for Best Friends, Wade is responsible for technology, computer system management and administration of the Best Friends Sanctuary computer and phone network.

Before coming to Best Friends, Wade worked for 14 years in various positions in the information technology arena, including roles in information technology management, system administration, and data communications.  He has managed both Novell and Microsoft computer networks.  Wade received his bachelor's degree from Utah Valley State College in computer science, with an emphasis in networking and data communications technology.

Born in Roosevelt, Utah, Wade is married and has three children.  He loves working at Best Friends and loves the constantly changing environment that the work provides.  He also enjoys outdoor activities such as backpacking, canyoneering and rock climbing.
