Fanny's Miracle Fanny the kitten has a pretty fancy step, thanks to time and TLC in her foster home. It's pretty remarkable, considering that her back was broken last summer. Fanny lost the use of her back legs when she crawled into a car's engine and was hit by the fan belt when the engine started.
After some intensive care at the sanctuary, Fanny went into a foster home -- Healing HEART Sanctuary -- for children and animals in nearby Kanab.
With plenty of physical therapy, TLC and holistic treatments, Fanny can now run, play, and jump just like any other kitten. Have a look at Fanny's antics.
"She has such a fantastic spirit," says Laura Bradshaw of Healing Heart. "Her back end had to get better because her front end was going and she never looked back. My hope is that Fanny finds a permanent home with a child or teenager with a similar disability, because Fanny never once let her handicap stop her." |
