Feline Leukemia

Special Feature

May 24 2003

Feline leukemia can be fatal to cats.

But, then again, many kitties with FeLeuk live long, happy lives - especially here at the sanctuary!

To many people, understandably, Feline Leukemia is still a mysterious illness.

  • How can you be sure if your cat has it?
  • Is it infectious?
  • Why do some cats succumb to it, and not others?
  • Is it safe to adopt a cat with Fe-Leuk?

In this week's feature, you'll meet some cats with feline leukemia, and you'll learn about how to test for it and what to do if your kitty has tested positive.
