The mailing office isn't strictly my office. But I do consider it my branch office. It's run by Gizmo, who came to Best Friends because he couldn’t adjust to life on the road when his owners retired and went traveling. So they dropped him off here while they were visiting the National Parks. Gizmo doesn't like other cats, so he stays in the mailing office.

We have a mailing machine that stuffs letters in envelopes and saves someone having to lick them all morning. (Yuk.) Gizmo's job is to watch the letters going through and to say Meow if it stops licking them properly.

The Complaints Department

Occasionally, the mailing machine or the computer fouls up. If this happens and you write in to complain about getting the wrong mail, we pass your mail to the Complaints Department.

This department is run by Audrey. If you're considering complaining about something, Audrey will greet you in the Complaints Department.
