Good Citizenship
Are you and your pet good citizens?

Time, Money, & Environment

Time, money, and environment: Do you have enough time for all three to take proper care of your pet? These classroom activities will make your students think twice about the decision to acquire a companion animal.

TIME: How much time will I need to spend taking care of these pets each day? A chart to fill in about the average amount of time it will take, per day, to adequately care for several different species of animals.

MONEY: How much does pet care really cost? The answer might surprise you. Divided into three parts: Initial cost, Weekly cost, and Long-term cost.

ENVIRONMENT: Do you have the right kind of environment where you live to properly care for a pet? A questionnaire that makes students think realistically about the kind of animals they can handle in the home.
