The Humane Education Department at Best Friends provides education for both children and adults.
The Best Friends NextGen website is an online resource for kids, juniors and teens that want to learn about animal welfare issues and help make a difference in their community. Classroom lesson plans and community outreach projects can be downloaded on the Teachers and Parents page.
The Education Ambassador program provides volunteers the opportunity to present outreach programs to children across the country.
In addition, we provide local and regional outreach programs to schools and youth groups within the southern Utah region.
