Mr. Bones
He's been waiting 13 years for a home!
Mr. Bones is the sweetest old dog, who was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico. In those days, he really learned to fend for himself, and so when he arrived at the sanctuary, he saw himself as a one-dog-gang against the other pooches! He's not so tough with the other dogs anymore, (though we still wouldn't recommend his sharing a home with one), but all those years of being a doggie-on-doggie little terror meant that nobody ever picked him for a home. And now, as age is creeping up on him, he's so sad to be without a family!
Mr. Bones is just a 53 pound Vizsla mix, who takes a little bit of 'old man' medication. He loves people, and he's very well behaved. He even knows how to use a doggie door! He promises that if there's somebody out there with a big enough heart to consider an "unlikely" dog like him ... he'll give you his whole heart, and all the love he's saved up for all these years.
