“You can scratch my belly!” But sadly, that’s just about the only place it is safe to scratch him. This poor baby is covered in painful, raw skin and scabs. Rescued from an animal hoarder (someone who takes in way more animals than they can care for), Aristotle arrived at a Los Angeles rescue group, with hardly any fur, and needing desperate medical attention. So he came to Best Friends. Right now, his skin is a mystery. All we know is that it’s awful. It could be mange, a chemical burn, a major sunburn, or some kind of a disease. The baby immediately went into his own little area so he can’t pass it to other dogs or even to humans. Just in case. But everyone is in love with him. He is the sweetest little guy! He’s going to need everyone’s support, and everyone’s prayers. The whole staff is pulling for his pain to end and then maybe, when he’s ready, even – a family to love forever? |
