Jasmine, a sweet and boisterous 10 year old beagle was brought to a shelter in Pennsylvania after being picked up for the 16th time over a 6 month period by Animal Control. Apparently her family would frequently open their back door and let Jasmine run and being a beagle, she followed her nose! Her rescuers noticed that she had some difficulty with her back legs sometimes dragging them when walking or running and seemed to be occasionally incontinent. Had she been hit by a car on one of her many trips out in the world? No one really knew. There was room for Jasmine in our geriatric laundry room so she came to Best Friends and went through a lot of medical tests to figure out what was wrong with Jasmine and what might help her. She charmed absolutely everyone while here and eventually found the perfect home of her own.
