Rush is just glad to be alive! When BETA rescue group in Lebanon found him during war time, he was lying beside a restaurant (looking for scraps?); his leg was injured and he was lying in a pile of filth. No one's sure what happened. He lost the leg while still in Lebanon, but he's glad to be out of pain. And he’s an American dog now and has been since 2006. He's a sleek, proud dog with some serious fears to overcome. He’s certainly had a difficult past and possibly because of that, Rush is afraid of new situation and loud noises. But John Garcia and Rush’s regular caregivers have made a mission out of helping Rush get past those fears. |
