Parker spent most of his life in the darkness. He lived in a puppy mill where cages were cramped together and the lights were rarely turned on. He was eight years old, and nobody was sure if he had ever been outside of a cage before. Parker’s teeth were infected at the roots, and it was terribly painful. He also had quite an under bite, but it was his teeth that were the most urgent. The puppy mill where Parker spent his life has been shut down. He came to Best Friends for the special care he needed on that mouth. For the first time he got to see the light of day, stretch out his legs, and best of all, for the first time in his life, he had people who actually cared about him. Parker now leads a pain-free life in a wonderful adoptive home. |
