I took Raed out for another walk this week. For Raed, this mainly means rolling in the red dirt and watching for lizards and bugs. Nothing came out to be chased, so we mostly sat within five feet of where we started.

Today I stopped by to visit with him while Jean cleaned his room. He was very good mannered and still has a pink tint to his white fur. Apparently Jean is still sweeping dirt out of his run.

He's being listed to go on the mobile adoption event for October 24 and 25 St. Francis Festival Blessing of the Animals and PACC911 Pet Adopt-A-Thon at 5802 E. Lincoln Dr., Scottsdale, AZ. So if anyone lives near there, stop by and say hello.

These mobile events are a great way for cats and dogs from the sanctuary to have a chance at a wonderful home. Raed will be one of many cats and it's possible that he won't find a home this weekend - but our fingers are crossed that this handsome guy might get lucky!

Raed! What is it about black and white kitties rolling in the red dirt? Noah LOVES to roll in the red dirt, and turn himself a similar shade when we visit Kanab.

This is one of my favorite photos of this photogenic fellow! Gettin' down & dirty! Raed obviously loves his time in the great outdoors -- and the time-honored tradition of so many 'perfectly clean' dogs & cats -- rolling in the dirt. Who knows why, but they do love it!

Raed is my kind of guy....I start out with every intention of a long healthy hike or walk only to be "side tracked" by neighbors, flowers, anything! Being a redhead I love the red fur! Hope Raed finds a forever home. He's such a great guy there must be a special person deserving of his lovins! Hope they meet up at the adoption fair
