Many of us feel stiff when we wake up in the morning, but poor ol’ Micky stays noticeably stiff all day long. In fact, we’ve wondered if he even has working joints in any of his paws!

He does, so why does he look like he walks with four wooden legs? We think it may be some form of Multiple Sclerosis or arthritis … though this little guy isn’t even a year old yet.

You might think that would slow him down. Boy would you be wrong! Micky still has his youthful energy and can hold his own wrestling with his foster mom’s Boston Terriers just fine. He can keep up in a game of tag with his foster cat siblings, too.

In fact, Micky seems to love every animal and person he’s ever met. The only hint of frustration he shows is during mealtime, when his slightly off-kilter jaw slows him down. Micky gets a little worried one of his playmates might have designs on his food and he becomes a little protective.

Micky may not be frustrated by his legs, but that’s not going to stop us from trying to figure out what’s wrong and how we can best help him. Letting him live the most fulfilling life possible is our goal. And with Guardian Angels on his side, we know there’ll be no stopping him!
