Need help with an animal?
Online assistance with pet questions
We've all been there; thinking that we're the only ones that feel way we do about the animals or who have been faced with a particular situation. The truth is, there are thousands and thousands of animal lovers from all over who love the animals and who want to help each other to help the animals. Best of all, there's just about no situation that someone hasn't dealt with in the past, so you needn't feel alone.
Best Friends receives hundreds of calls and e-mails each week from people requesting advice and assistance with their own animal or a rescued animal. Many who contact us are seeking admission for an animal to the Sanctuary while others want help or advice on how to deal with medical problem or behavioral challenges with their own animals. The Best Friends Network can link you to other animal lovers and helpful resources 24 hours a day.
The Best Friends Network is an online community that allows animal lovers to connect and help each other. You can search by state or by topic and find news stories, resources and forums dedicated to helping animals. The Resources section has extensive information that can help you with your situation. The forums section even gives you the opportunity to post your questions or needs in a community in your area or a community that relates to your particular question.
To get to the Best Friends Network, just click on the following link:

Additional advice and assistance If you have tried the Best Friends Network site and are in need of further assistance, please contact the Animal Help Department at:
animalhelp@bestfriends.org.
The Best Friends Animal Help department handles all requests for help for specific animals in need. Our team of Specialists has been trained to work personally with you to help you find solutions to your particular challenge. We know that we can't solve the problem of homeless pets ourselves so our goal is to give you the tools that you need to help with problems that may arise in your home or your community.
Requests for assistance are reviewed, prioritized and assigned as soon as they come in. The Specialists do respond as quickly as possible based on the urgency of the situation but due to the high volume of requests, it may take one to two weeks for a staff member to get back to you.
