Humane Education
Regional Outreach

Best Friends Animal Society is guided by a simple philosophy: kindness to animals builds a better world for all of us. The Best Friends Humane Education department is working toward the goal of No More Homeless Pets through the education of children, youth group leaders, teachers and parents in local communities.

Our mission is to lead a kindness revolution that transforms the way people relate to animals, nature and each other. Our humane educators can present on a variety of topics including Puppies aren't Products, Pit Bulls: Saving America's Dogs, Focus on Felines and First Home, Forever Home.

If you are located outside of easy driving distance to Best Friends in Kanab, Utah, we might have an education ambassador available in your area who can present our educational programs. This national venue offers an ongoing educational experience with fresh presentations that can be given every month. Please inquire about Best Friends education ambassadors in your region.
