Education Ambassador Program

Join the Best Friends Education Ambassador Team!

The Best Friends Education Ambassador nationwide program provides volunteers the opportunity to present outreach programs to schools, libraries and community youth groups. As a Best Friends Education Ambassador you will be part of a private group with access to downloadable resources and curriculum.

I Read to Animals Program

Kindness to Animals Program

The Kindness to Animals Program is a series of eight PowerPoint presentations, lesson plans, worksheets, interactive scenarios and poems.

Apply to become a Best Friends Education Ambassador

The Education Ambassador process includes joining the Best Friends Network, and completing a volunteer agreement and questionnaire. We will check your references and also administer a background check.

If you are a certified teacher and have a background check on file, please inform the Volunteer Coordinator.

 1.   Join the Best Friends Network at http://network.bestfriends.org/ by clicking on Sign Up.
       If you are already a fan, please sign-in to the Network at the top of the page

 2.   Click on Best Friends Volunteer Center located at the top of the page..

 3.   Click on My Volunteer Menu.

 4.   Click on Search All Opportunities located under your name main menu.

 5.   Click on Search All - Show All Opportunities.

 6.   Scroll down until you locate Best Friends Education Ambassador.

 7.   Click on Click here for details or to sign up.

 8.   Read the Best Friends Education Ambassador description.

 9.   Click on I'm Interested.

10.  Our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you shortly to begin the process.
