DAWGS Volunteering

DAWGS needs volunteers to help with the following on- and off-site projects.

• Transporting dogs from Dalhart to other sanctuaries, especially in Colorado.
• Bi-weekly pet adoptions at the Amarillo PETsMART.
• Routine dog care at the sanctuary.
• Coordination of Petfinder postings, and answering Petfinder emails.
• Writing of thank-you notes and fundraising letters.
• Organization of fundraising events and capital improvement campaign.
• Making contact with potential donors.
• Organization of regular spay/neuter clinic in Dalhart.
