Richmond SPCA Launches Spay/Neuter Ad Campaign

"The Richmond SPCA is undertaking a spay/neuter project of truly historic proportions that will allow us to fulfill our commitment to make this a no-kill community within a few years."  -Robin Starr, Richmond SPCA CEO

The Richmond Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is launching a 3-year spay and neuter project in January 2005 targeted at pets of low-income, inner city residents and feral cats. The effort is designed to significantly reduce the homeless animal population citywide and to make the Richmond area a no-kill community by 2008.

The organization will kickoff the spay/neuter plan Monday, January 17 with the launch of an outdoor advertising campaign, consisting of bus and billboard ads, designed by Barber Martin Advertising.
