Anne Lindsay

Anne Lindsay has been involved in animal welfare for over 16 years. Since 1992, she has been the public relations and special projects director for the Northeast Animal Shelter (NEAS) in Salem, Massachusetts. At NEAS, she participated in the beginning phases of the Puppies Across America program by helping to develop the forms and procedures for transporting animals from other parts of the country. She helps to recruit shelters wanting to transport their dogs to the Northeast and provides information for those shelters interested in starting a relocation program.

Anne is also founder and president of Massachusetts Animal Coalition, Inc. (MAC), which has been in existence since 2000, and she recently stepped down as president of the New England Federation of Humane Societies. Anne shares her heart and home with six rescue dogs.
