Jenn Clayton
Jenn Clayton is the executive director of the Utah Animal Advocacy Foundation, an animal welfare organization that relies entirely on volunteer foster homes to house and care for the many animals in its rescue/adoption programs.
Prior to starting the Animal Advocacy Foundation, Jenn worked for Best Friends Animal Sanctuary for four years. During her time with Best Friends, she developed a thriving foster home program and managed a team of more than 60 volunteer foster homes. In addition to successfully recruiting and managing foster homes, she also developed a training program complete with a "Foster Home Handbook" that provided foster homes with valuable information on basic training, orphaned animal care, infectious disease, policies and procedures, etc.
Jenn has two bachelor of science degrees - one in behavioral science and health, and one in psychology. She is also certified as a canine behaviorist and trainer, and has worked as a veterinary technician.
Jenn lives in Salt Lake City with her two dogs, two cats, and occasional foster critters.
