Kim Sturla

Kim is cofounder and director of Animal Place, a sanctuary and education center for farmed animals located in Northern California. In addition to operating the sanctuary, Kim works in the farm animal campaigns division for the new Humane Society of the U.S. (recently merged with The Fund for Animals, where Kim has worked for the past 12 years). She also has years of experience working for and running SPCAs and animal control agencies.
