Linda Harper


Linda Harper, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist, international speaker and workshop leader. She is the author of Give to Your Heart's Content... Without Giving Yourself Away, and The Tao of Eating: Feeding Your Soul through Everyday Experiences with Food.


Linda advises animal lovers on coping with their emotions and facilitates the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA)'s pet loss support group. She is the founder of "Blessed Bonds", a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the human-animal companion bond and promoting its value. Linda volunteers for the Capricorn Clinic and Sanctuary for Cats and is a member of the Chicagoland Stray Cats Coalition.


She is pictured with Winston, one of her pet therapy assistants in the clinical practice that she has had with her husband for the past 22 years in the Chicago area.
