Matt Granito
Matt Granito started working in animal shelters in 1990. He spent four years with the Lake County Humane Society in Mentor, Ohio. During that time, Matt attended the National Cruelty Investigator Schools Level I and II, National Horse Abuse Investigators Training, and various American Humane Association conferences.
In 1994, he became the deputy director and chief humane officer for the Cleveland Animal Protective League in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2002, he became the dog warden in Geauga County, Ohio. Matt's experiences with both private and government shelters have helped achieve successful rates of adoptions.
