How to get public money for spay/
neuter programs
Spay/Neuter Programs that Work
Spay/neuter is the key, but how
can you really make it happen in
your community?

Peter Marsh, Esq.

Peter Marsh has worked on legislation for animals in New Hampshire and across the country since the late 1970s.

He has helped with legislative campaigns that have extended animal cruelty laws, established minimum dog shelter requirements, prohibited pound seizure, ended classroom vivisection, the hunting of mourning doves, and dogs being transported without protection in pick-up trucks.

Peter has also worked on legislation that secured public funding for neutering assistance programs in New Hampshire and has helped animal protection groups get public funding for programs in several other parts of the country.

As a lawyer, he has privately prosecuted many animal cruelty cases and has defended several "death row" dogs. He has served as the Governor's appointee to the Pet Overpopulation Committee of the New Hampshire Legislature for several years.

Peter is also the founder of Solutions to Overpopulation of Pets.
