Zoe Carson

Zoe Carson has worked with Alley Cat Allies since January 2000. Alley Cat Allies is a national feral cat resource and clearinghouse of information about how to control feral feline populations through non-lethal Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).

In addition to responding to hundreds of inquiries a month, Zoe manages large TNR projects, including the Atlantic City (NJ) Boardwalk TNR program. She works with animal control agencies, animal protection organizations, and humane societies to help control feral cat populations. Alley Cat Allies has persuaded government and military agencies to embrace non-lethal control of feral cats in several locations, including Atlantic City, New Jersey; Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Virginia; Brevard County, Florida; and Avenal State Prison, California.

Zoe also manages Project Vets-for-Life. This program provides veterinary and veterinary technician students with surgical experience and education on non-lethal feral cat population control.

A regular exhibitor and presenter at seminars and conferences in the United States, Zoe is also a contributor to Alley Cat Allies' award-winning quarterly journal, Alley Cat Action, and other resource materials.

Zoe received her B.A. in Psychology from Seattle University in 1997. She is a trained and registered volunteer with Noah's Wish, an organization that provides relief to animals caught in disaster situations.
