Best Friends Animal Society works with shelters and rescue groups nationwide to bring about a time when there will be no more homeless pets. Best Friends operates the Nation's largest sanctuary for abandoned and abused animals, provides adoption, spay/neuter, educational programs and publishes "Best Friends", the Nation's largest general-interest animal magazine. Thanks to a broad base of support within the entertainment industry, Best Friends events consistently draws National media coverage, which raises the awareness of animal-related issues.

Who: The Los Angeles Programs of Best Friends Animal Society creates and funds model programs that improve and save the lives of abandoned, neglected and abused animals
What: Strut Your Mutt is a fundraising walk for the animals and a good time for anyone and everyone who wants some exercise and to show off their best friend.
When: October 12th 2008 Walk begins at 9:00 am & prizes are awarded at 11:00am
Where: La Brea Tar Pits on Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles
