We call it "Karley's wash day." She's been with us four years after a bad start in puppyhood spending hours alone, crated without socialization. Her second owner over-compensated her situation by allowing her to roam the neighborhood, antagonizing other dogs. We are the third owners who in our senior years are trying to cope with her issues. Her good traits outweigh the bad. When my husband falls, which he does occasionally, he pulls himself up on Karley. Though she is stubborn her loves for us makes Karley's Wash Day a joy.
