Louis and Abby
The cat is Louis and the dog is Abby, two of my five rescued pets. From the day I brought Abby home from the pound, she and Louis have been inseparable friends. He was a stray kitten who was missing half of his tail. I found him on the street and took him home before I got the dog. I don't know why he likes dogs so much.
I asked the animal shelter for a big dog who would get along nicely with cats. Abby met those qualifications, but she is extremely shy. For several months she was afraid of everything from my hot tub to her dog obedience class. Now she is doing much better, she is more confident, but still not outgoing.
I am currently separated from them because I am deployed with the Army in the Mideast. They are being well cared for, and I can't wait to see them when I get home.
