Luna

Here's our sweet adopted doggie,  Luna (formerly Yoda), lounging in the daffodils at our neighborhood park. She's the best dog in the WORLD! We constantly get compliments on how pretty she is, questions on what kind of dog she is, and so on. To the "what kind of dog is she?" questions, I always proudly reply that we don't know because she's a rescue. This invariably leads to a discussion about the merits of rescuing. She's famous in our local park for being "the dog from Utah"!

We are still amazed at how wonderfully behaved she is. From day one she hasn't needed a leash, knows all her commands (including fun "tricks"), rides in the car with perfect manners, and is loving and gentle to adults and children both. A few issues with dog aggression and cat chasing have been worked through with positive reinforcement training.

She's a joy to us and we take her everywhere we go. This weekend, she gets her first boat ride on my parent's sailboat in Maryland. Wish us luck!
