Libby & Rayya

Libby (left) is from my local animal shelter. She ran away once too often (probably looking for her "missing" puppies the last time), and her owners never came to get her. Rayya (right) spent half of her first two years of life in one animal shelter, as she was turned in three times by three different owners, and eventually came to me through a rescue agency.

Although I adopted them five years apart, these darling girls bonded immediately, and are inseparable. In fact, they even look like twins, with different coloring. It's clear that they were destined to live together -  they just had to put up with the unpleasant journey to arrive here.

With the pampering they get (twice weekly dog park playgroups, raw food diet, etc...), I'd say it was worth the wait!
