Ginger Marie Kitty

Ginger became blind when she was given Baytril by her vet for a UTI at Christmas 2003. She is almost 16 years old. What a horrendous thing to have happen at that age!

She has been with me since I found her in a canal in Modesto, California, when I lived there for 15 years.  She has been with me ever since. I have a terminal lung disease and she has helped me through my chemo, and prednisone therapy. She doesn't seem to mind that the prednisone makes me so depressed and VERY VERY FAT and I'm not a BIG person - until this medication anyway.

She is most helpful in waking me every morning for my medications, and even if I'm not breathing right at night? she will wake me for nebulizer machine treatments! She also used to tell me when I had seizures on-coming - I don't have them anymore thank goodness!.

She is my soul-mate, my love, my MUSE, and the most VIP in my life and has been always.  Love comes in the form of this Guarding Angel in my life! She has been so "courageous" in this *adapting* of her blindness, as well as being a real "trooper" when she makes mistakes and bumps her head or nose, or falls - I'm right there for her - encouraging her like she does me!
