Barney and Bailey
My husband and I met walking our dogs - he had just adopted Barney from ASPCA and I was walking Bailey my 11 month old chocolate lab. Barney never played with dogs and we were at a dog run near my house at the time (Stuart quit his job and started working from home to be with Barney and was just taking him to different areas as he had the time) and they started playing so we talked.
We made a play date for the next week but it rained so hard I never went - we never exchanged numbers so that was that. We ran into each other six months later and made another play date for the following week. I got stuck working late and never made it and again we had not exchanged numbers so that was that. Three weeks later we ran into each other and Stuart gave me his card and said call me if you want to get together.
We had a few dates and I went over his house and the first time I sat on the couch Barney jumped up between us to separate us. To make a long story short we got married and Barney and Bailey were our ring bearers. They are like Fricke and Frak - so opposite - but they get along.
