Asher and Phantom
I found Asher, the white/tan/grey Calico, in a local park next to the garbage, in a small box. I carried her three miles back to my car as no one in the park wanted to "get involved."
Phantom was one of four kittens born to a warehouse cat. We got the mother spayed and the other three kittens placed, but no one wanted a cat with a cleft palate. He had three surgeries to repair the birth defect, but tore out the stitches each time, so we're content to let him remain "Phantom (of the Opera)" since he's fat and happy.
