Linda Stephens

I took this photo of my dear friend, Linda Stephens, when we visited Best Friends in May.

She generously gave my visit to Best Friends to me as my birthday/Christmas present, because she knew I would love it and wanted me to experience the beauty and wonder of the Best Friends Sanctuary (and as the single Mom of four cats and two dogs, I would not have been able to afford the trip). Linda also sponsored her stepdaughter and a friend to join us for our week's visit to Best Friends.

Linda and her husband, Donald, share their home with 31 cats and two dogs - all rescues - and it is Linda's sincere belief that she was placed on this earth to help every cat that she can, including those rescued by others who otherwise would not be able to afford the initial veterinary visit or spay/neuter or surgery, or whatever. I personally believe she is an angel placed on this earth.

I love this photo, taken at Morgaine's Place, because the expression of pure joy on Linda's face as she holds that kitten says what my paltry words can not about her love of cats.
