He's a pointer-Dalmatian mix, and a big baby - just a real dear.
Toby wasn't actually "rescued"; we bought him from an old farmer who was selling beagles out of the back of his pickup truck! On second thought, maybe we did rescue him! Toby is a blanket-back beagle, and also a fat beagle! But he's a doll.
These two dogs couldn't be more like brothers than if they'd had the same mother. Even though Nipper's older, he babies Toby, and always watches out for him. They both also watch out for us and "patrol" our property, and - in their off-time - love to shop at PetSmart.
