Dust Bunny

Dust Bunny is my little man in a fur suit.  He is famous in the Virginia Beach/Norfolk, Virginia area for his role in raising money each fall for the Norfolk Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.  He willingly dons a clown outfit, complete with ruffles, pom-poms and pointed hat, while being pulled around Blair Middle School in a red wagon. 

He sits behind a plastic Halloween pumpkin and watches while children deposit money.  When coins are dropped in, Dusty will bend his head and look inside, as if to make sure that the donor really did put something in there!  

Last month my vet, Dr. Peter Fisher, found a mass in Dusty's chest.  Dusty has had three rounds of radiation at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Cary, North Carolina.  He is doing so well and I am so very grateful. He enjoys life so much!
