Memorable Moment
Although my beloved Persian cat went over the Rainbow Bridge at age 16, I'll always remember, among her endearing qualities, one particular moment.
I was washing dishes and she had jumped onto a nearby counter, knocking off and breaking one of my favorite bowls. I yelled at her and she ran off into another room and hid.
Some time later, as I was drying the dishes, I felt a warm body against my lower leg. I looked down and she was standing on her hind feet, pressing her tummy against my leg and had wrapped her paws around my leg as if to apologies for breaking the dish.
