What Best Friends Means to Us
This is our permanent home
And we're lucky to be here,
But due to personal problems
Adoption we can't persevere.
But regardless of our problems
We would never make a fuss,
Because these special people
Really care so much for us.
Our different needs are treated
By their caring clinic team,
They strive to keep us healthy
And full of self-esteem.
We've never again felt hunger
And we're not left alone,
They give us lots of love
More than we've ever known.
So don't you humans be so sad
About of all of us who stay
'Cause this is where we wish to be
We never want to go away.
Our once-sad little faces
Are happy, each and every one,
And best friends is the reason
Until our lives are done.
