Lisa Edelstein, star of "House, MD", has been a long-time Best Friends supporter. She joined the Honorary Committee for our Los Angeles Lint Roller Party in 2000 and was involved with the event for years. She also visited our Sanctuary in Utah in 2006, and was our keynote speaker at the 2008 No More Homeless Pets Conference.

Lisa was featured in the January/February 2011 issue of Best Friends magazine with an article and cover photo and was a spokesperson on Access Hollywood Live, promoting an adoptable dog named Rusty for the monthly pet adoption segment. In promotion of her advocacy duties, she was featured in our "I Believe" public service announcement and most recently attended the No-Kill Los Angeles (NKLA) launch party and grand opening of the NKLA Pet Adoption Center. In the Fall of 2013, Lisa starred in our fundraising television spot featuring Alfie, one of our former special needs Dogtown residents now doing wonderfully and living in his forever home.

"Animals will change your life in ways that are so unexpected and so wonderful," says Lisa.

Lisa was recently seen several episodes of "Castle" and in her new scripted Bravo series "The Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce."
