Barbara Camick

Director of Annual Giving

As the director of annual giving for Best Friends, Barbara Camick is responsible for the recruitment, cultivation and stewardship of members donating up to $25,000 annually. These members contribute more than $25 million toward Best Friends' annual revenue of over $100 million.

Prior to joining Best Friends in 2012, Barbara was a director with the March of Dimes for four years and a principal consultant with Target Software/Blackbaud for nearly 10 years. Barbara worked with many of the nation's largest nonprofits to understand their objectives, strategies and challenges, and then supported implementation of the data management infrastructure and business processes to achieve strategic goals.

Barbara has earned her CFRE designation, and also has her MBA and a degree in psychology. She left the New England winters behind a few years ago, and now happily lives in Kanab, Utah, with her menagerie of three dogs, three cats, three parrots, and a dozen chickens.
