Jen Reid

Manager of Horse Haven

Jen Reid has been with Best Friends since 1997 and has been the manager of Horse Haven since 2007. Horse Haven specializes in rehabilitating horses with special needs (both behavioral and physical). Jen is a farrier and holds multiple certifications from the Equine Lameness Prevention Organization, including certified barefoot trimmer, certified lameness specialist, certified instructor and certified examiner. She has also worked as a veterinary technician for most of her tenure at Best Friends. She has been a student of natural horsemanship for more than 10 years and has experience working with a wide variety of horses with a wide variety of training challenges.
