Nikki Kelley is the Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics. She is passionate about finding the signal in the noise and effectively communicating key insights using advanced analytics that will transform the animal welfare movement. Nikki focuses on storytelling through data visualization and finding ways to leverage machine learning techniques to help Best Friends make data driven decisions. Nikki holds a B.A. in mathematics and a master's degree in public administration. Before coming to work for Best Friends she worked as an actuarial analyst. After adopting her first dog in 2008, she decided to focus on finding ways to quantify and analyze animal sheltering in the U.S. Nikki lives in Philadelphia, PA with her husband and four pets.
