Saving kittens with SEAACA

Kittens are some of the most at-risk pets in shelters because they need round-the-clock care, which many shelters don't have the resources to provide.

The Southeast Area Animal Control Authority (SEAACA) neonatal kitten foster program is now being managed by SEAACA.

This program focuses on saving the lives of kittens by getting them out of shelters and into the homes of foster volunteers, where they can get the care they need to grow and thrive.

You can help create better lives for at-risk kittens when you email foster@seaaca.org to volunteer to foster.

Working together, we'll save more lives and create a happier and healthier community for both people and pets.

Foster: Open your heart and home

When you foster a kitten, you’re not only providing a safe and loving place for a homeless pet to learn and grow, you’re helping to make room in shelters.

Fostering a kitten in your home, even for just a few nights, is a great way to help save a homeless pet’s life. SEAACA is in need of foster homes to temporarily care for kittens while our team works to match them with an adoptive home.

For questions about fostering kittens, please email us directly at foster@seaaca.org.
