Saving lives in Northwest Arkansas

Located in the heart of the Bentonville greenspace, Best Friends is committed to bringing the entire country to no-kill in 2025, and that goal is reflected in everything we’re doing here at the pet resource center.

The Best Friends Pet Resource Center is a place of opportunity and lifesaving, where homeless pets can find families of their very own, making room to save the lives of even more animals and getting us closer to reaching our goal of ending the killing in shelters in 2025.

Our focus is not only to serve the pets of Northwest Arkansas, but also the people who call this place home. The center is a place for the community to gather, celebrate pets, and participate in lifesaving activities like adoption events and advocacy events.

The innovative space features open areas for community members to get to know adoptable dogs and cats, attend fun events for people of all ages, and much more.

Our sanctuary: where it all began

From our sanctuary in southern Utah, Best Friends’ work has spread across the country. As the organization grew, we established regional programs and lifesaving centers that have become hubs for innovation and inspiration. Plus, we’re bringing lifesaving strategies and programs to shelters and rescue groups nationwide.
